BARNEY. I am a 7 month German Shepherd. My past 7 months as a puppy have not been good. I was found wandering around Big Bear when the animal control person picked me up and brought me to the shelter. I looked like I had not eaten for a long time, and I had something growing out of my eye. I guess that is why people dumped me. No one wanted me, probably because of my ugly eye. I was hours away from death when a kind BARC volunteer rescued me and took me to the hospital and the wonderful DR. D performed eye surgery. You should see me now. I AM SO BEAUTIFUL!
